I missed it...

The hot blond in the pic above, was at the Texas Mile in Oct. She was having some problems that day but apparently she is normally pretty fast....220+mph I believe... She is smokin hot, I know that.

She almost died at Bonneville last time she ran the course. . .I'm sure that accident weighs in on her mind when twisting the throttle. She met her goal of 205MPH. . .

yeah im sure it does

I was surprised to find out the salt flats arent always hard...

I guess depending on the moisture in the air, determines if its slushy or hard like rock

it takes very little moisture to change salt, put some outside on a humid day.

No stock BUSA is hitting 200mph, sorry NEVER going to happen. They also lied it doesn't have Twin-Turbo's....

I met Leslie out at the Texas Mile and checked out her bike also, real nice gal...

This is her 220+ configuration...

99-00s were not limited but still won't hit 200.....one of the rag mags back in the day claimed they radar tested it at 194mph but its not the norm.....Upper 180s is the norm but not in a standing mile.... maybe 2-3 miles.

Remember the salt is MUCH less traction then on pavement...takes a lot longer to get up to speed, hence the 3-5 mile runs. Stock gen 1 busas run low low 180s in a standing mile with an average weight rider. There was a chick at the Tx Mile with a piped/tuned 06 busa going 181mph and she was like 115lbs. Takes a lot more to go fast then people think.....not just about big HP........but it helps.
