Vista cruise installed.....in love

I bought a vista cruise online for $20-ish. Me and my father in law spent about 20 minutes hooking it up to the 600rr and jumped on our bikes and went for a ride. Set the throttle at 70 and just cruised on 45 for miles....

I can now see myself taking more trips to S.A and dallas now that I don't have to pull over and stretch.

Definitely worth it for $20 dont be dumb with the thing though.....i wouldnt do this in everyday traffic.

would you rather show it off and say "it was only $20" or "that's right, I made it myself"

on the flats of I-45....it held it right at 70mph, on the little overpasses it slowed down to 66mph, but then sped back up on the downhill to about 72 and held it.

I tried one on mine but none or made for the 1" clip ons.

So I shaved mine but I didn't have room for it in the clip on without sliding the bar down.

So a throttlemeister would be my choice if I decided to get one. But my tank only lasts 2 hrs at a time and that's a good time to take a break on long trips.

i have them on all our bikes, both v-maxes, my fz1 and also the maurader
They have i think at least 3 versions. one for 1 throttle cable. 1 for 2 throttle cables and 1 universal. just have to look at what you got and how to make it work.
I have been using them for years. cheap and work great
they can be found at cycle gear also

i've got a vista cruise as well (and yes they make them for 1" as well as 7/8" bars). it's kinda nice because the tension is adjustable.

you can tighten it up to where it will actually hold the throttle just a little bit even when it's not engaged and that will help relieve some hand strain on long trips without ever having to actually "lock" it on, and the throttle will still roll off in the case your hand comes off (just not as fast)

for every day riding i actually think it takes up too much of my grip space to be comfortable

$20 for a part, that I could make for less than a $1. No thanks. Chances are it wouldn't look as pretty, but function the same.
