Cool So guy reversed onto my bike SWEET.

This dude comes knocking over my door and ask me the last thing I felt like hearing this early in the morning " Um.... who....owns the motorcycle...... " "I do. " "ummmm well I just woke up and was still hazy and uh.. reversed into your bike....it just scraped it a little.." So we walk over to me bike it lookes like somone vertically keyed my bike 20 times right through my brand new paint job. then I reach for the handle to turn the bike to the left like it should be on a kick stand and my dam throttle comes right off. So now I couldnt go to work which is a big issue AND THEN he states " how much this all gonna cost cuz I aint got no money until thursday"

Sucks!

At least he owned up to it and he said "until Thursday" so that is some hope. File the police report anyway for good measure. It gets his name on record as the person who damaged it in case you have to take it to court later on.

Just an FYI in case you don't know. Don't let him talk you into dealing for cash. If you dont file a report, and work with insurance the dude can easily back out and say screw you. Then the only way you can get paid is going to court, as it has become a civil matter.
