Legal? Vertically mounted plates on the swingarm

Saw theses ... are they legal here in texas to mount your plates vertically?

if you corner aggressively, it will hit on the street, I guarantee.

I just mounted mine to the rear peg assembly; and shown two hyperwhite leds through the plastic cowling.

Used the stock bracket, bent it and made a quick aluminium bracket. From what Im told, verticle is not legal but I haven't been ticketed for it.

I had mine on the right side of my Busa. It was set to where the plate was almost inside the rear wheel. No one gave me any for it, not even the Bolivar Ferry a-hole DPS crew. They just wrote me up for no visible inspection sticker, even tho it was under the seat....
