intereference with public duties IS a class B misdemeanor HOWEVER!, from section 38.15 it provides defenses for doing such (warning others of a cop)

the other exemption has to do with speech only...section 38.15 (D) of the texas penal code.

sorry im studyin for my cj final so the book was open! bc though, some cops will pull you over for...well..they'll find a reason

Tapping the helmet is a warning for danger ahead, not always a cop. You can always say there was a traffic slowdown ahead, and you were warning the other rider.
