When i 1rst got my bike i sat on the side of a neiberhood for like 30min in the blistering heat with my gear on trying to figure out why my bike wouldn’t start. Still to this day it gets me lol i hate that thing with a passion ts in the perfect spot to hit when you don’t want to hit it...Going down the freeway iv tried to ride with my left arm on the gas to give my right arm a break hit that dumbass kill switch all the time...Plus mean people like to turn it off while riding mean people i tell you....

Anyways no i never use it when im actually turning my bike off but do it all the time on accident..

I always use kill switch - it's the way I was told to do it in the riders class and I've done it everytime since. Think about it, you can kill the engine and hold in clutch to role to a stop without taking the risk of removing a hand from the bars to turn the key. It also prevents you letting go of the clutch while still in gear and jumping forward. I think its all just a safety thing!

On the F2 I always kill it by putting the kickstand down. On the ZX7 it is the key!

I use the key... I have a bad habit of leaving the key in the bike when I just use the kill switch.

I use the switch if I hear my cooling fans running. And then I use the key.
