Problem with my 848 stalling

Anyone on here have an 848 with stalling issues? It happens pretty frequently, regardless of whether im in neutral or 1st gear sitting still. Im pretty frustrated with it now.

Has anyone took it to the dealer and have it checked out yet?

The stalls dont happen when i try to take off, it kills itself sitting at a light in neutral.

Sounds like a Duc I used to know. PM BrutusTx. His Ducati was intermittently (sp?) stalling out on his 999. He may be able to tell you what it was or what he did to fix the problem

i had a superhawk that did that. something to do with the carbs being out of sync. I know your is FI but maybe the throttlebodies are out of sync.

When I had my 749 i had problems with the flywheel. Did you change to a lightened flywheel. Once i switched back to the normal one the problem was solved.

I heard this problem was common on the 1098's and was fixeable by warranty.
Had'nt heard it happenning on the 848 until now.
Bring it in and get it checked out.
Got a 2 year warranty, might as well use it.

Go get your cam checked out. My 1098 was doing the same and when I took it back to the dealer they found out the cam was 6 degrees off

If you have a race flywheel you gotta turn up the RPM.

Prolly same problem anyways, just turn up the idle a little. It ain't a Harley.

There was a factory recall on the R1's that did this exact same thing. Ended up being the TPS (Throttle Position sensor).
