Learning the Motorcycle

Hey guys,

I was hoping someone could provide me with a link that would educate a beginner as myself about how motorcycles work, the engine mechanics, and so on. I believe that with that knowledge I'll be a much better rider as well as have a better conditioned motorcycle.

I've googled it, and I've picked up helpful sites, but I'm looking for something that will be able to teach a complete beginner who does not understand engine terms and such. The sites I've found really weren't simplistic enough, I'm embarrassed to say... I want to understand the usage of pistons, carbs, and so forth.

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!

As slowkat mentioned, the engine is designed like that of a car w a basic FI or carbed system. The transmission will be a little different as will the clutch system. Otherwise all other pneumatic brakes/clutch etc are the same.
