wow it says the trucks tires lifted off the ground when the harley rider got run over. how do you run over a person and not stop??? that's sick. the driver was probably hammered and thought "oh i can't stop and get my 4th dwi! i don't have a license!"

I seriously offer $1500 for the /s murdered.

Maybe its not such a bad idea to have a fund that pays to have such offenders have "accidents" or "dissappear." I can see a steep decline in such asshattery if people knew that a bounty would be placed on their heads, not their trip to the jail.

That is very sad.

Unfortunately the attitudes are no longer suppressed in this generation as before times. The ideas, realities etc had always existed by supressed. The information age brings about 'understanding' and unfortunately disrespect and lack of moral creeps in.

But dont take my word for it...(Reading Rainbow....)

Two killed in separate hit-and-runs

Two Baytown residents were struck and killed by unidentified drivers in separate hit-and-runs shortly after dark Friday.

Within about an hour's span and five miles apart, a 14-year-old skateboarder and a 47-year-old Harley-Davidson motorcyclist were fatally run over, Baytown police said.

"At this time, we have no reason to believe the same driver was responsible," said Baytown detective Sgt. Shawn Fischer. "But we really don't know who did it. It's very rare to have two fatal hit-and-runs like this."

Police said 14-year-old Adrian Elias, an eighth-grader at Horace Mann Junior School, had just finished skateboarding with friends at Unidad Park on J.B. LeFevre Road and was walking over to see a Christmas parade when he was hit at about 7:40 p.m.

A passing motorist discovered Adrian's body in the middle of the 2500 block of LeFevre and alerted police.

"His friends said he just left the park about five minutes earlier and that they had soon after heard something like a skateboard flipping," Fischer said. "But nobody actually saw him struck down."

Adrian was taken to San Jacinto Methodist Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

About an hour earlier, 47-year-old Samuel Marlin was driving his black 2004 Harley-Davidson south on Texas Business 146 when a white Chevrolet pickup struck him, witnesses told police.

The truck driver had stopped at a stop sign and then turned left in front of the motorcyclist to enter the northbound lanes of the highway, police said.

"The truck drove over the man and his motorcycle. The driver had to be aware because the truck's wheels came off the ground," Fischer said.

But the truck driver never stopped to offer help. Instead, the driver continued north on Texas 146, police said.

Witnesses described the driver as appearing to be a small-framed woman with bushy hair.

Marlin was flown to Memorial Hermann Hospital-Texas Medical Center, where he died from his injuries.

Fisher asked anyone who may have seen either hit-and-run to call police at 281-422-8371. A $1,000 reward is being offered for any information that leads to a felony arrest.

and who can assure me it wasnt the same driver? was only 5 miles appart
