So if you where driving along in your cage (or worse yet on your bike) minding your own biz & some dikhead on a bike threw a handfull of into traffic in front of you cause another azzhole was ff'n with him; That would be no big deal to you??? Even if it was your windshield (or your on your bike) taken out???

I was thinking they were limited to 107.

Dont the tires pop somewhere around 80?

True story, happened with a buddy of mine and I while we were riding on US 59 headed towards Sugar Land (a relatively clean area)..

We were being followed by a tuner car loaded with a certain "race" of color (won't mention it)..

anyways when i realized I sped up, my buddy also sped up, got my attention, told me to pull over, I followed him into a parking lot of a movie theatre (Lowes off of 59 and fountain area), the tuner car followed us.

When we stopped I asked my buddy only two words - "You sure?" he said "Yep, just sit back and relax".

The guys (4-5) can't remember, were getting out of the car when my buddy got off of his bike took out his Glock and fired 3 shots straight into the hood of the car.

I think I was more scared then the guys being shot at ahaha, but the guys got back in their car quicker then they could get out of it and ran like !

We stuck around for awhile as someone had called the cops, my buddy showed the 5.0. his CHL, glock, m/c insurance and all and got a pat on his back and we were off on our merry way.

Ever since I've been meaning to get my CHL or stop riding out at night.

Becuase I was on a limited edition "Honda Repsol 1000rr" and he was on a even limited edition "Yamaha R1 50th Anniversary LE". Don't know...

As far as I can remember we did'nt do anything to them off, heck we were both in the slow lanes coming back from a party in the heights area late at night...

I just happened to notice them in my mirrors following us from the Galleria area all the way to when we took an exit.

Your friend didn't get in any trouble??? what? isn't it illegal to discharge a firearm in public like that if the guys in the car didn't even have a chance to get out and say what they wanted???

Nopes.

He said he felt threatened by 5 guys following him, told them to stop, but when they got out of the car in aggression to maybe harm us or steal our bikes, he showed them the gun and fired 3 rounds off.

The cop said that was enough information and after checking his CHL and all let us go.

Wow. I personally don't feel the need to carry a firearm but the more i hear these stories really makes me wonder if i should get my CHL. There's just too many crazies out there. I would hate to have to use it if it came down to it (the thought of it makes me cringe) but it is better to be prepared than not. This poses quite a dilemma for me.

I have carried a weapon for way longer than they were legal to carry, in answer to your wondering question, you are the only one that can decide if you want to get a CHL, but if you do and you do carry, if you pull the weapon you had better be well ready to use it, cause if you ain't a lead enema just might be in your future
