the speed limit is a LIMIT - not a requirement.... right? this I read about knocking mirrors off, and throwing stuff, and baiting the others on the road really scares me about some... all that stuff just makes the road more dangerous for everybody, including the other drivers that have nothing to do with it... I'd say chill pill all-round! Geez.

Instead, how about a little fun, like the time a dad and his young son, out for a cruise in his (very cool) hotrod SS camaro - met me on 249 - both of us admiring each others rides... got a smile on his face and we took off on a rolling start... I kept it in 6th and he tried to keep up.... and I let him a little....

keep it light out there! have fun - avoid the crazies - just get away from them and don't start ! It's not a competition until you get on the track... and you never know just how crazy some people are.....

it happened to my cuz back in april or so. We were riding to Galveston too. it was a black 'burban murdered out on 24's. they cut my cuz off and was trying to get him to race. they swerved at him a few times and i see both of them take off. I wasn't sure what was going on at first, then speed up to them to see some exchange of gestures. it was a car load of thug looking fat mexican'ts thinking they were funny till we showed them we weren't scared! they backed off after that.

I got chased about a month ago down hwy 6.

It started on one of the side streets off of 6, i was taking a left turn and a guy in a red dodge stealth was sitting at the stop sign, was a stick shift i think cause he was rolling forward slowly. anyways as i turned the corner i glanced over to watch his car and make sure he wasnt going to roll into me. guy flipped a uturn followed me down onto hwy6, i knew he was following me so i buzzed off 100+ to the next stoplight, he got out of his car started yelling at me. Why i stared him down, you think that peice of bike can outrun my car blah blah blah shoulda bought a harley like me blah blah, guy looked like a army/national guard type of person, buzz cut hair, fairly buff. i just sat there kinda laughing to myself like WTF!!

I hammered it through the red he jumped backed in his car and followed, i think i ran 3 red lights in a row. weaved threw a bunch of cars just before 529 and cut through a parking lot , he didnt stand a chance of keeping up.

people are f-ing crazy these days.

a guy in a little tuner came up close once in the left lane - trying to pass me already at near 90 - obviously wanting to goad me or was in a hurry or something... so I just moved over, and he passed, and then slowed..... the goof just HAD to be in front... so I said - whatever, dude - what do I care... if I had to be in front, I'd find that so easy to do, but I just didn't care...

There's a difference between knowing the path, and walking the path... sometimes just knowing is fine with me....

pocket full of rocks got them to back off. We pulled over and they keep going. I guess they didn't think we would stop. but when we have 2 feet on the ground it's no longer cager vs. bike. it's man on man!! or man on mexican't!!

Okay I have something to add, I was riding on C.E. Parkway and passed a guy and the rear tire spit up a few pebbles on his hood I guess.....
So Im just passing him (not cutting him off or anything) just passing
After im in front of him..I glance in my mirror and see the headlights coming fast so I speed up a little and then it becomes clear hes trying to case so I slow down get over quickly and hit the brakes so he couldn't run me over so then he throws and bottle out the window trying to hit me with it.

Okay granted this next part wasn't the smartest thing to do I speed up on his and pull over in the grass... well im locking up my brakes in the grass and he spins off in the grass infront of me ..he got out running towards me (by time I got my bike on the stand) he was in arm reach of me( with a little 2 inch blade) all I had time to do is rip off my helmet and swing at this face.

So here I am with a dude K.O.'d laying on the ground bleeding from the eyebrow with a car passing so all I could do is get the fk outta there ..and thank my lic's plate wasnt on the bike ....so no one could get the number and call the cops

The lesson I learned never to pull over b/c next time the peep in the car might have more than just a knife...this happened on my Birthday by the way

well.... I am not gonna read 5 pages of this. 2 thoughts come to mind.

1. learn to ride your bike.....there is no way an POS explorer can keep up with ANY modern sportbike

2. Like kingralph said, don't flip someone off unless your prepared to man up and stomp azz.
