Ever been chased by a cager?

So I'm going to work today, on 45-south towards Galveston. There was a maroon Explorer in the far lefthand lane going slow (for freeway speeds, probably less than 55). I passed him on the right, doing about 75, and nonchalantly flipped off my mirror.
Evidently he saw, cause a minute later, he comes flying up behind me, and starts swerving in the lane right next to me, like dangerously close. I saw 4 mexicans in the vehicle. Of course, I took off.
After getting away and doing about 100 for a minute or so, I see them flying up behind me. "Great," I thought. This went on several times, with me getting faster each time (I looked down once and saw 130), and for longer... each time, they kept up and stayed behind me.

I finally said screwit and gunned it for a couple of minutes, then hit an exit and pulled into a subdivision in Bayou Vista. About a minute later, here comes the crazy up behind me! I finally lost him after a couple of minutes in the neighborhood, and hung out for a few minutes behind a parked car.
After I pulled out and started riding again, I was coming over the Galveston Causeway and see the explorer sitting on the shoulder, with all 4 guys out looking over the bridge. They saw me, and I had to gun it AGAIN to get into Galveston where I was going, before they could catch up to me.

So my question is, has anyone ever had a crazy cager get and chase you / try to run you down? I've never had anything like that happen before. And it wasn't fun... I wasn't trying to get killed or pulled over (for excessive speeding) on the way to work today! I HATE STUPID DRIVERS!!!

What does it mean, 'nonchalantly flipped off my mirror'?

Ya I was surprised he was able to keep up too! :?

I mean, I flipped off my rearview mirror, facing forward, so the reflection went backwards.

haha Yeah that could be in order after today! I didn't maintain the speed for very long, cause I thought for sure he'd give up. I was far enough ahead that I couldn't see him behind me, so I slowed back down. Like I said, I'm not much for going to jail for speeding! That's when he'd catch back up, and I'd have to take off again....
If it were heavier traffic, I'd have done some weaving and left him far behind. you Gulf Fwy for being non-congested!!!!
