Need help with new bike!

Guys - my brother's wife wants me to pick out a bike for my brother for his Christmas (good woman) It's his first bike so I'm thinking a 600cc BUT the question is what do you all recommend? I know everybody has an opinion and he's the one that needs to find the bike but where is the best place to finance a preowned sportbike? And where has the best selection? I was thinking about Stubbs on Telephone Rd as my 1st stop but where next? I personally bought mine from British USA but that's coz I went for a new Triumph. Please help guys and remember it needs to be financed and pre-owned.

Oh before I forget he's a wee so nothing for a tall man!!!

Never had a bike?? Ditto what Arturo said, if he's got previous experience (and I'm not talking about some bike he rode when he was 10 years old..lol) I would recommend an Sv 650

Someone earlier mentioned they knew someone in Waco selling a 250 for reasonable coinage.

well he took the riders class and has taken shots on my 650 and a friends gxr 600 so I think he'll be fine on a 600. As for a personal loan I don't have time to do that with his wife so after Stubbs where else would you recommend?

you should of said that earlier. how do you want help when you leave out important info like that?

it looks like your already going to buy him a 600 so your just looking for a place to finance a used bike. go to stubbs on telephone or maybe try Motorcycles Unlimited since Patrick sells used bikes there too.

he really need to sit on a few different ones...

the gsxr seems to have a more cramped feel
the honda seems most comfy
and the kawi seems to be the bigger

these are how I feel on these bikes. someone else may see it totally different. tell her to get a loan and just give him the money for christmas if possible. i think a 600 is a fine bike to start with, unless hes someone who will try to race every honda and toyota on the road. just my .02

Man thats a imposible question to answer i mean how tall is he whats he want the bike for how big is he...

The 600rr in my opinion is the most uncofortable bike in the world.

the kawi 636 is a great bike just make sure you get him a stering dampner as well.

r6 not the nicest bigginer bike real nervous bike.

gsxr is prob the most confy i know mine is very confy and i love my bike.Of cource i also have a 750 but there in the same frame and everything so it shouldnt matter...

If your looking at new bikes then i really dont know havent had the pleasure of riding one or reading much about them....
