Katy Krew ride saturday?

Katy-West crew....

I'm in the mood for a good ride saturday. I was thinking maybe a Katy, Fulshear, Pattison, Waller and back to Katy ride. We can stop and chill at Stephen F. Austin State Park. We can take a football or a bat and some and beat the out of each other.

Weather is gonna be 56/70 on Saturday.
This should be about a 100 mi. ride and take about 2hrs to ride straight, 3hrs if we stop and chill (like you know we gotta).

I tried to map it on MapQuest and it gave me these links, don't know if it will work when you try it!

http://www.mapquest.com/mq/3-zEZGCRoq2PxT
http://www.mapquest.com/mq/2-Vq4tslwK

I'm going regardless, so with or without ya.
Thinking meet 9:30am, KSU 10am.
Everyone else is welcomed of course!

Sorry, working nights will do that to you. (And make your bigger too.) I forgot it was still the weekend when I posted this.

Anyway yes I meant it for this next saturday the 13th, thanks Switch.

And yes, I know that's the same day as the flag football and the Lone Star Rally to Galvez.

I know Mel, but it's been a good while since I've taken this route and I really feel like riding. The day is supposed to be real nice and I kinda don't wanna spend it all just sitting in one spot. Winter's coming around and all...

BTW, congrats on the new helmet! I had signed up for the white elephant thingy but didn't know it was anything but. I woulda pitched in if I had known. I'll just buy you a sticker for your new lid.
I had to work that night so I didn't make it cause I had to sleep some anyway.

Wish I could make next weekend. Might want to add 1489 out of Simonton N to I10 to your rout. It is a good road.

Thanks, will defenitely try to figure a way to add it without double-backing.
Looked at it on the map and it does look fun...

Real time traffic, weather, news, maps, trajectory, velocity, points of interest, restaurants and gas stations all in one. Any ride without iCole technology fails!
Too bad that thing can't tell you when you're pumping $3 gas!

Chris, thanks for the invite! I've been restless at work all week, then I missed the skydive ride last weekend. I'm seriously itching for some road under my tires. This ride shouldn't last tooo long, I'll prob end up swinging by and catching the end of the F/F meet.

(Better idea, why don't you and Mel just come ride with me?)

Talking

I'll ride with ya. but where exavtly is the meet spot?

route proposal:

http://www.mapquest.com/mq/2-Vq4tslw...:::::f:EN:M:/e

the portion on i-10: there is a fun exit just west of the brazos, with an entrance just after, so its optional

Orion, thanks for the new route, looks good so we will go with this one instead. We can also double-back on 1489 and continue with 1458 (cause I like the long back roads!)

What say we meet at the Academy parking lot on Hwy 99?
9:30am, KSU 10am?
