Police Officer Charged With Official Oppression

Ok, which one of you was it?
Looks like this guy was taking yall's advice and trying to outrun the law.
Yammy would be proud.

http://www.click2houston.com/news/18219114/detail.html

Snippet from the story...

Police said Officer Jon Fitzgerald pulled over 24-year-old Ryan Sanders in November.

"There were no weapons involved," Capt. Roger Clifford said. "We believe the force was excessive."

Police said Sanders did not stop initially.

"He was riding a motorcycle and led police on a 4-mile chase," said Clifford.

To get turned in by the other cops on the scene, Fitzgerald either went REALLY FAR across the line, or the cops in Baytown are VERY ethical...

must have gone REALLY far across the line

this story sucks until we know what the cop actually did to "oppress" the guys rights.

Last week me and my brothers were riding down garth and had to deal with a Harris County Sherriff accusing us of wheeliing down Garth when we where slowing down for a light. I'm no stunter so slow wheelies are'nt my thing. Any cop in Baytown usually tends to be anti-sportbiker. Haven't met one yet who didn't have a major attitude problem toward us. Point is watch your a$$ in Baytown.

...Once you run on a bike or in a cage, it's a felony.
Before you hang the Cop, understand the media will post a story for good headlines. I'll wait until I see the outcome before making a judgement.

regardless that doesnt give the LEO the right to beat the fck out of the guy once he is apprehended. keep in mind, as my understanding from the story is that his own fellow police officers turned him in. i could be wrong but for his own brothers to turn him in shows that either he really was in the wrong and they were in fear of not turning him in, or that he was really hated by his fellow officers.
