I'm a pretty small frame dude and my HJC doesn't even register on my head. I bought a Sparx helmet a couple of weeks ago and that one was too light. The wind blowing over my head made it "lift" and pull away from my head. When I would turn to look before I changed lanes, it felt like it was about to blow off. Lightness does have it's drawbacks.
Go to CycleGear or ExImports and try on some of the Scorpions, then decide from there.
just an fyi...the weight of the helmet has nothing to do with it trying to lift off your head at speed. that's because of the poor design of the helmet shell creating lift instead of being neutral in the wind.
