Dude, I have a CL-15 and my size was borderline M/L, so I went with the med. It was tight at first but now it fits perfect, like I'm not even wearing a helmet. I love my HCJ.

Here's a couple of EXO-700 reviews.
http://www.webbikeworld.com/r2/motor...lmet/scorpion/
http://ezinearticles.com/?Scorpion-E...iew&id=1341227

The EXO-400 is the entry level, but an excellent helmet for the price.

Check this list for helmet weights.
http://www.webbikeworld.com/motorcyc...et-weights.htm
(BTW you can click on the helmet name and it will take you to the review page.)

I'm a pretty small frame dude and my HJC doesn't even register on my head. I bought a Sparx helmet a couple of weeks ago and that one was too light. The wind blowing over my head made it "lift" and pull away from my head. When I would turn to look before I changed lanes, it felt like it was about to blow off. Lightness does have it's drawbacks.
Go to CycleGear or ExImports and try on some of the Scorpions, then decide from there.

Another note, buying a whole set of cheek pads, top liners and visor can cost you 3/4 the price of a new helmet. Check the prices first....

How was the fit? noise? vent? weight?
Any kind of review would help for someone else thinking to buy one!
Thanks Dave...

I have both a 400 and 70o series. They rank right up there with the top of the line helmets as far as safety at a fraction of the cost. I've never owned an Arai or Shoei to compare, but I was more than content with both of my Scorpions. The exo-700 did it's job in my highside. Only saw stars for 20 minutes or so, but no trips to the ER. Ha Ha!

Scorpion helmets are great for the price. The finish isn't Arai quality but again the price is not the same either.

i think the only difference between the two is the vents. the 700 i believe vents a little better than the 400. my wife an i both have 400's and we love them. my wifes held up super good on her wreck!

I have the 700; venting is fine and yeah the only differance u will really notice is the vents on 4 to 7. But I think there is small other differences too. These helmets always get great reviews as up there with the more expensive helmets and at this price right there, ! I paid 2something for mine.
