Yea. The shell size for L, XL and XXL are teh same if I am not mistaken. It's fine man. Im just trippin. I have always bought used helmets, so it just feels snug. I know for a FACT that my XXL Soumy would be considered a bit too big.

If you ever tell me thank you for some reason, I'm not going to say you're welcome just to spite you.

I don't know why your are trying to prod me, but you're just makin' yourself look bad.
Anyway it sounds like Cdill has his helmet issue worked out, maybe changing cheek pads is all it will take.
By starting with a helmet that is maybe a little too tight you may actually get a better fit in the long run.

I had the same issue with my soumy spec 1r. Soumy, to me seems to run a bit smaller than Arai.

I put it on the shelf and use it for back up or when my son is old enough to use it. I will use it when my Arai time's is up. It's tight just like you described. I only wore it for one trackday and it's uncomfortable but it's good for racing, I guessed.

Yea...wel, I just took the XXL cheek pads out of my Spec R1 and put them in this Extreme. The thing is too tight. I need an XXL, I am sending it back.

Thanks for all the advice. Bottom line, Soumy runs smaller than Shoei and Arai. At least for my head it does.

I got a headache from takin it on an off for the last 2 hours.

The RX-7 Corsair is old news, they now have the Corsair V.
