Anybody remember if Pete's track bike retals are street leagal? I think his website is texastrackbikes.com

Just checked the website, shows two track only SV's. Didn't he add a gsxr recently?

Yeah he is from Italy working here for a year or 2 and misses riding a lot. I would let him borrow mine but a track bike riding down the street has a tendency to attract negative attention from the cops.

I would imagine a couple hundred bucks with a LARGE deposit would be the price range he is looking at.

What is this Google you're referring to? What does it do?

I looked and searched for a long time on renting a sport bike here in the Houston area myself and didn't come up with anything. The closest you can get is probably the guy at Mancuso who rents bikes IF you can get a hold of him.
They don't rent the Buells anymore except for maybe a Blast as too many people crashed them because of too much power. I guess the easiest thing for him would be to buy a cheap bike and then sell it when he goes back to Italy.

If he works here for more than 90 days I assume he has either an L1/2 or H1B visa? With that he can get a SSN or Tax ID so can register the bike.

Why? Because they don't have licenses in Italy?

2 gsxr's now but not street legal. And I don't know of anyone that rents sport bikes either.
