Well, the track looks like fun BUT I'd rather spend the $200+ riding the backroads. Keeping my ego in check is free, and $200 buy's a LOT of gas.

I still ride reasonably aggressive on the street. One thing to keep in the back of your mind; a track day costs $150- $200.00, a wrecked bike and a shattered leg because you hit a culvert is a lot more expensive.
As Clyde stated; keep your ego in check.

Track days would be fun, but the fact is most of us like to ride at least once or twice a week! So the bike just sits in the garage intill the next track day? Its so nice to just jump on the bike and ride at your own convence. If the weather is nice you can bet I am rideing!

There is nothing wrong with hitting the twisties as long as you don't push the
bike or yourself to much on these streets. No matter what, Street riding is dangerous
just for the fact of all the other vehicles and obsticales that are there.

Agreed.
Theres nothing else like a nice run through the twisties, but take to the track if you wanna see what you and your bike can really do...
