What made you want to ride?

Well for me my dad always talked about when he was 18 he got his first bike, a 1974 or 72 or I forget the exact year CB350, he later traded it in for a 750 and ect ect.

I loved listening to him talk about bikes, well he being an old dude listened to 60's and 70's music with the Beatles, Jan and Dean, Simon and Garfunkle ect ect. so whenever I rode with him thats what I listend to too. well I liked it becuase that's all i knew and to this day I still listen to the olidies stations.

I remember the best songs were always car songs! how this Stingray beat that Cobra, and how this Hot rod Lincoln was gonna drive me to drink'en =p well one song made me jump out of the car seat every time I heard it was "Little Honda"

and I just looked it up today on youtube and well.. although the music video is very... 1960's lol... I still love this song

I started riding dirt bikes when I was 9 years old and when I turned 15 I got a motorcycle license and a motorcycle to get back and forth to school, I like the feeling of freedom. I am a pilot and the leaning into steep turns almost gives me the feeling of flying.

I've always been a speed junkie Started out with cars > '88firebird then moved on to driving my dads vette. A couple of people I knew had sportbikes and my dad has had few crusers. I just got up one day and had to have one real bad so I went to the dealership to buy one and didn't have the credit About 6months and many testdrives later I found a used one that I liked and could afford.

....Oh and first gear on my Honda is more than alright

Thumbs up

I started out riding mini bikes , scooters, enduros, then sport bikes & now I own a crusier 1300 V Star.
I had been away from owning my own bike for about 10 plus years until this past Sept.
Man, I tell ya, it is great being back riding & assocating with fellow riders.
I'm about your dad's age group maybe, but yeah ,the songs back then were big about cars & girls.
My daughter loves cars & bikes ,she is now 5,but I am teaching her well.
