I lowered my old f4 1.5 in w/ a dogbone and also lowered it in front. Two weeks later, I raised it back up. I started dragging my pegs on the ground which I wasn't comfortable with. I'd rather be uncomfortable at a stop, then uncomfortable at speed in a corner. I've just learned to only put one foot down at stops and backing it up while I'm off the bike.

I want to say the dogbone I used had f2/f3/f4 and 900rr stamped on it. It has 2 heights -1.5 and .3 inches. I'll check my toolbox when I get home tonight. If it fits, you can have it.

I just bought a used seat on ebay and it should be here next week. Anyone here want to help a girl out and show me how to shave it? Perhaps in exchange for some beer or food? Haha... My bike is already lowered about an inch.

Pull the staples out and remove some foam it would be better if you could remove the foam from the bottom side, that way your seat would still keep its smooth factory shape. I would use a grinder with a sanding disk to remove the foam but u could use a lot of different things. Then just restaple the cover and your done

Sorry I couldn't help being a guy for a second.

I've also seen an electric knife , like for carving turkeys, used to cut seat foam. Sand it smooth then just pull taught and restaple.

I live in the NW area as well. I could help if you'd like.

You want gel on the R6 seat or the 929?
