i like the reviews here:
http://www.webbikeworld.com/r3/disco...rcycle-helmet/
thats one for the M2r MR10.
The last few sentences say it to me:

Quote:
Many very good helmets can be found in the $100.00 - $200.00 range that are comfortable, have DOT and Snell approval, quality manufacture and many other nice features. Save up a few more bucks and remember the old adage, herewith adapted: If you have a 65-dollar head, get a 65-dollar helmet.

that statement is exactly false.......I will NEVER buy a lid that is less than like $400 or $500 retail. I just won't do it. I am not all about having to have name brand or being able to say I spent a ton of money on a helmet. My brain is my livelyhood and I will spend $$$$$ to protect that.
I will never trust some start-up lid company or $100 helmet. I just won't do it.......
As far as picking up another visor, rule #1 is always have (atleast) 1 spare visor. Right now I have 2 clear and 1 smoke visor that I keep on standby. Then, if you end up having to use your spare, order another one right away.....

I havent really heard much great on the street M2Rs, however, I liked their offroad helmets for the most part. I still have 3 of them from my racing days. However, the shell was REALLY large compared to the Arai that I got. They protected my squash though through some pretty bad racing accidents. Plus the sponsorship I had through them that one year was a pretty sweet deal too.

I thoroughly enjoyed mine. I wore M2R helmets on the dirt, so i bought one as my second street helmet. GP-1(flat black) it is all ****ed up now from wrecking several times. I have retired it.

But. I also got knocked silly wearing it. I have not had that happen since i started wearing arai.
