thinkin about leaving early saturday morning, and coming back saturday when we're done. it's about a 2 1/2 hour haul up there....1.5 tanks to get us there and back i believe...at 40/tank.....$60/2 would put us at $30 each for gas

we can take my truck or yours....i got a generator if u need to power your warmers also.

so in all, it would cost around $120 for a day at the hill if you have ur CMRA license. or $145 for CCS/TMGP license.

Tony,

Give me a shout next time you are up for this. I'd like to check the track out once I get back in town and have all my parts back on the bike. Maybe another day before the end of the year?

I believe Daryl accepts TMGP licenses. Not positive. PM me for his number and you can call him.

My understanding is that any road race competition license will allow you to rent Oak Hill. $75 for CMRA license, $100 for all other competition licenses.

Now, now. Don't be that way. You can learn something sitting on a corner and help the racing organization at the same time.

I groaned about doing it when I had to do my prov-nov (again...), but in the end, I really learned a lot!

You will plenty of people in the CMRA off by doing that, since 95% of them did it the "hard way". Corner working is actually pretty cool, and a good reality check if you get in a bad corner.

I saw a guy's collarbone nearly come out through his skin, only a couple months after it happened to me, made me sick to my stomach. And I saw a guy on a 'tard highside himself to the moon!! All in all, a worthwhile experience.

Not sure about CCS, but CMRA is $135. The license form in on the web page www.cmraracing.com

But you have to take the riders school at a LSTD event before your eligible for a CMRA license.
