Don't you ever listen to me?

Long before track days, there was Oak Hill, the place you practiced between events and the place you practiced in the off-season. It still happens, but in those days especially, as a bonus, every third of fourth trip meant you'd be riding with some of your go-fast peers. I will never forget the fall of 1989 when Schwantz showed up and I had a 5.0 Mustang...

You should hire someone to listen for you ('cause I hear you're lazy, too).

Sure, you can go with, you just can't ride on the track without a valid license. Daryl checks for that. Getting busted without it (and it's happend in the past) can end it for all.

You have to go through LSTD to get a CMRA license. If you go through Buck & company you get a CCS license. That means you have to pay for a CMRA license as well. You bypass the cornerworking and provisional status, but you have to essentially pay for two licenses to do it.

Any other racing org's license that is accepted by the CMRA can go to OHR to ride, but you will pay more- I think it's $100 or $125 to ride with another org's license (like CCS).
