Thumbs down kneedraggers.com F#$%ed up!!!

Cliff notes: ordered from kneedraggers, shipped wrong exhaust,

Finally after a long period of time saving up, i finally decide to purchase my exhaust for my 2006 R6. I shop around and the best price at kneedraggers.com and i give them a call to ask a couple more questions. i was looking at the sbk system or the sbk corsa race system, which were both listed on their website at the time. The price difference between the two exhausts was about 7 dollars or so . I was pretty shocked because the msrp for the corsa race system was a lott higher .

i placed my order online for the corsa race system and selected my shipping. Waited a total of 2 weeks for processing and shipping in total. received the package and the box said suzuki gsx-r 1300 hayabusa.

I AM . i called them up and taked to an employee and he said that i probably just have a different box. I call leo vince in cali and come to find out i have a gsxr exhaust .

called kneedraggers back and told them i have the wrong exhaust . they told me to email them with the year and model of my bike and they will fix it .

checking out the website it looks as though they fixed the corsa race system back to its msrp and it looks as though i will be getting the good ole sbk non race system after all.

Cliff notes: ordered from kneedraggers, sent wrong exhaust,

they should honor the price you paid no matter how long it has been since they made the mistake it would be like going to circuit city on black friday and buying a TV at a sale price then it goes out in 3 days after the sale ends you get a replacement for the same price.

Here is a novel idea, call Patrick at Motorcycles Unlimited. You get a discount by being on MH and you have someone to call locally if there are any issues.

I have not ordered anything online in years.

Call KneeDraggers back... tell them what you ordered and what price. Ask them to make it right. Sending the lesser exhaust is not an acceptable solution. Be very civil and polite. If they won't do it, get your money back and talk to Patrick.

Why are we bashing someone for NOT going to Motorcycles Unlimited? WTF?

Seriously I like Motorcycles Unlimited and all but its his fault for ordering something from anywhere else? Bunch of BS.

+1 on this advice...no need to be a jerk about it....the 2 week wait you had is over, hopefully they'll make it right.

2 weeks honestly is not that bad.

It took RONAYERS.com 4 effin weeks to send me one brake caliper bolt. Luckily for me, Motorcycles Unlimited had it for me next day.....get this......

at NO CHARGE

I certainly don't use Motorcycles Unlimited all the time, everytime, but never once has Patrick and the crew ever let me down. Hit them up if Kneedraggers won't match your original deal or you have complications with them

Like I said I like Motorcycles Unlimited, I have gotten good deals there. I don't go often because it is too far for me. But some of the above statements are bit asinine.

Not just your post but a few of the posts in this thread.

"Shoulda done that 1st then you would not have this problem."

I know several local shops on my side of town that are and I would order online before I went to them any day. You can't generalize something you have no idea about.

Most major websites like CycleGear and KneeDraggers will also make things right.

Yea, but if you don't support the local shops they won't be here for long then your screwed. There are not many left that have people that really know much of anything.

On top of that, you send money out of state. That money sometimes doesn't come back. Thats a bigger deal that you think. We need to try to spend more locally and not always with the huge Corporations. It will keep everyone better off locally.
