but no really, i wouldnt say thats the only reason but honestly i would have to say it was a factor in the begining. i also really like how bikes look, so i wanted one for myself. i have always liked bikes and the idea of riding and being a rider. all it took was getting on one for the first time to get hooked for a slew of other reasons. i love the rush and the handling.

having a bike does make it easier to get chicks. actually, its more like it makes it easier for the chick to get you. you dont have to have a badass bike either, basicly its just something for her to talk about and break the ice. i doubt any chick would get with someone just because they have a bike, but it gives her an easy way to put you on a pedastal and show attraction. all she has to do is say "nice bike" or better yet "take me on a ride" and thats that. if she says it just right, then everyone knows whats going on and who she is going home with. it just doesnt work the same if she says "i really like your belt" or "nice shoes you have there". what would you say to that to follow up? "yeah, baby, you want me to take you to payless?"

anyone agree?

I probably would have never bought a bike if my friends had'nt pressured me soo much. Did'nt really buy it to look cool, but more to keep close with the gang. I love riding though, and don't consider myself a poser by any means.

I just got a bike cuz I was bored in life but after riding it the first time, I grew a passion for 2 wheels.

I got a bike cause I got a divorce. If I had stayed married then I probably
would not have ever gotten the bike because all my money was going to my
kids, after I saw what money I had left after the judge told me what I was
going to be paying I decided to get it.

But I had always wanted one since I was a young boy, which would have had nothing
to do with getting girls with it.

your funny. if i did it to look cool, why do i hit twisties and RODE IT TO AUSTIN. You think a poser would ride to austin in THE SUMMER when it was 10000000 degrees to look cool out in the middle of lagrange. Now i only ride to releive stress and cruise around to get my mind off things. I ride it mostly during the afternoon where there is nothing to pose in front of. Posers stand near their bikes or sit on it and dont get off it. Why would I get the irridium face shield if I wanted to be seen?
