Have anyone had any experience with this product? How is the video quality?

I'm not sure that the quality is any different from my standard Go Pro that I have. Looks to be the same technology, just a bigger angle lens.

I just shot this a couple of weeks ago w/ a standard Go Pro:

http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...60595468449759

The quality direct from the camera is actually much clearer than this. It is downsized for google video...

dhdrider does the tank mount comes with the kit? I don't think i can trust the suction cup that comes with the kit.

Honestly none of my videos have ever came out near the quality on their website. Nor have I ever gotten more then ridiculously static wind noise for audio. (and yes I have tried both hi and lo mic settings)

Still a sweet lil camera for free though.

hey ya'll

Go Pro is going to be one of the LSTD team's new sponsors for 09.
We have not received the cameras yet, but we've heard alot of good things about them.
We will definitely be trying to use them at track days for 09.
Mac will have the details as they become available.
Email justin@goprocamera.com and tell him the guys at Lone Star Track Days sent you.

we used the gopro wide angle at the last ttd TWS (Texas World Speedway) event. pretty good picture quality and audio was fine, no static at all. it was overcast that day, so the video was a little dark. for the size, it takes good video. 2gb card could do 50 mins or so of video. i'll see if i can upload a video somewhere.

The guy that sold me my CBR600rr included the gas-cap mount camcorder mount (Thanks Tony - HouseofPain ) so that is what it's mounted on in that video.

This is it mounted on my old RC51 w/ the suction cup mount on a bumpy track: http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...81509586703573

And this is it mounted w/ the suction cup on a smoother track: http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...13228589601817

The suction cup mount held on great at Barber and TWS (Texas World Speedway). I had it mounted on the front of my R6 next to the windscreen. Hitting speeds over 150mph. I did however "teather" it with a zip-tie just incase ,but it never came loose.

Here's one that hit the ground during a lowside at TWS (Texas World Speedway) a few weeks ago.

I found this on another forum.

I hope that wasn't a limited edition R6 that went down in the video.

It was an 03 R6 track bike. It was ridden the rest of the day as well.

The video was shot with a go pro wide angle.

Hmm, I'll look into that. I was hoping to get one by Friday, assuming I'll be riding.
