so i got my new helmet in............

by suomys guide for their helmet size, it should fit. but i swear it feels too small. like for instance, if i stick my bottom lip out a little bit, just a little bit it touches the front of the helmet. and the opening is pretty small, and tough to put on, but once its on, it feels ok. but the lip thing is kinna worrying me. and after riding for a while with it on, it starts to feel wierd. so i dunno, i might be selling a suomy helmet.

i could touch it with my lip as well, i would really have to stretch for it.

some helmets have the mouth part of the helmet a little closer. Just strap your helmet on, and push down on that part to see if it makes a lot of contact, if so you probably wont do so well if you crash and land on that section.

but then again you could also get a different one

If it fits too tight, doesn't it evetually stretch out after a few weeks? (the padding)

I doubt if the closeness of the lip will change. Maybe you will just get use to it.

suomy fits tight, and yes they will "give" a little after wearing it for a bit. i prefer arai. i didn't like that piece so close to my face.
