Need Help

Hello All,

I was hit by a car on Tuesday, night; the driver left after stopping to get his bumper. I am ok but my bike is messed up. My insurance says i need to take it to the a shop and they will send out an adjuster.

Does anyone know of a good shop? I bought it from Stubbs (59)...heard the stories so that is out.......Thinking of the other on telephone rd.....any suggestions?

hit and run

Check out the Sponsors section, Motorcycles Unlimited isn't too far from you and does excellent work. There may even be another shop on there closer

Wassup man! That's messup for someone to do that chit (hit and run). How bad is it? Good thing is your okay and in good heath. Bike can be fix and or replace but not you. By the way how's your insurerance with? I got USAA and thier the one of the best. They tell you who they dealt with and the rating of a shop you want to bring your bike too. As long as it's in their data base. Well hope you get your bike fix soon.

Update.........

HPD has done nothing, nothing at all. Still waiting to speak with officer that has the case, unable to reach him, not returning any calls.

Motorcycles Unlimited.....what can i say.....in a word.......DaBestSimplyDaBest...(yeah i know its not in Webster's Dictionary.....but should be....if it was it would have a picture of Patrick and his Crew..) Could of had the bike back before X-Mas but i decided to add things and take some away...delayed til New Years....then decided to go all out....now eta is 1/6....cant wait.....

Insurance.......great....State Farm.....very expensive (at $100 deductible level)...but well worth it.....no problem cutting checks.......next day rec'd. Actually forgot to deduct the deductible off one of the checks......great group.

Thanks Again Patrick....Nice to know that there are still some honest people working on bikes out there. If you havent done work with Patrick @ Motorcycles Unlimited, you need to keep them in mind in the event that you need Honest, and might i say, everything he said was exactly as he said ...even down to what the insurance did/done/should have done. Insurance paid, but I could have paid more by not using the correct coverage, and thanks to Patrick that didn't happen.

IF any HPD Officers see this thread....IM STILL WAITING....CAN YOU HELP ME FIND THE GUY THAT HIT ME.........Please pm me and i will give you all the info i have and the officers name if that can help get this guy off the street.
