To each thier own, but if you ask me, don't do it. Crashing is part of the game, and if it's gonna happen, it's gonna happen -- and it's gonna happen sooner or later. More than once I've seen guys rolling around on the ground in the paddock before riding in thier new leathers. Not sure where my camera was...

I thought House of Pain already "de-magged" my used suit, but apparently not. And then after going down once I thought I was good to go....apparently not, b/c I crashed a second time. Oh well, gotta pay to play.

Now that you ladies mention it (or, more accurately, allude to it), there is a relationship between your noobness on the track and your chances of crashing. Maybe it's best if you do attempt to exercise the demons by rolling around the pits in your new leathers. If it makes you feel better, of course.

A bunch of F2/F3s.

I took 2 of my endurance teammates to the ground this year when they showed up with new leathers. A light tackle in the pits...just enough to get em on the ground.

When I showed up with my new ones...they returned the favor.
