Proper "De-magnetizing techniques"

So I have gotten the suggestion from several people as to how to "de-magnetize" my new suit before wearing it at the track. How did ya'll do it?

1. put on suit and helmet(bicycle helmet should do)
2. get on bike
3. pedal pedal pedal
4. lock up rear tire and low side

its not just leathers. _nything new that goes on the track needs to be de-magnetized, otherwise you will go down.

Go shopping at walmart.

the stares will absorb the magnetizing properties.

and the only particles that will be attracted to you at the time are the same freaks that try to hit on women at 3am.

so how does one demagnetize a motorcycle that has not been to the track yet? does it involve dancing nubile virgins, dead frogs and rams blood?

I put the suit on and rolled around on the ground in the paddocks.

I did NOT do this with my 2-pc...probably why I crashed in that suit.

Usually a good toss or two on the concrete is all that is needed. If you ever wondered why all the track vets show up and throw all there gear on the ground as soon as they get there this should give you a good idea why. It also helps loosen them up.

i was unaware of this demagnetizing procedure!

2 trackdays later and no cr*shing. *whew*

possibly wearing them around the house for 2 days prior and being endlessly ridiculed by my gf took care of the demagnetizing.

or maybe the 4 times my bike has been dropped doing stupid like backing into a parking spot was enough to overcome the suit curse.
