Yes, you're mistaken Just spend the $25. It's the best money I've ever spent at Motorcycles Unlimited.

Yes, it can be done...

I work for BMW but when a co worker wanted to build a mustang for drag racing he paid for a professional to build his stang's engine. Everyone gave him for doing that, but that person built a near bulletproof engine.

The Motorcycles Unlimited setup will be set up for your weight and riding style; best money you could ever spend on your bike other then maintenance. From there, work with the fine tuning but dont lose the basis set up they set up up with.

Plus it takes two people to set up spring rate.

For different riding experiences there are recommendations.

But if a bike is set up to accomidate how you ride, and adjust to how you ride, you can push yourself even further. Making an adjustment between tracks will be very little if any, since most would rather have a bike that will react the same way and alter their riding for the new track.

I changed almost everything on mine when I went to TWS (Texas World Speedway) last weekend, but that's because I usually expect a passenger at least once a week, need a little slop in the drivetrain etc. Now I don't want it changed back and have turned down passengers because it hugs the road sooo much better and brings confidence to my experience.

Im looking for a site I had that had a page by page instruction for each adjustment and the reasons behind them. Then information on what to change for things that are happening on the track. Was an old book I had when I started riding years ago in Cali(and ironically totalled a bike, first day on the track.)

But in all honesty, I trust Patrick and the crew at Motorcycles Unlimited whole heartedly. And although Im a master tech for BMW, I still bring my bike to them for things Im unsure about and I want done right the first time. Its well worth it.

And if you are going to MSRH, squeeze that suspension setup in today, like NOW cuz it will make a huge difference on a track like that w switchbacks.
