Tom. Sun. 30th HRP Baytown CLOSED

For some reason the calender shows the track is closed. I don't know who else was thinking about going. I just checked the weather and was gonna start start a thread for a meet. Thats a negative.

Rob, did you get the clutch stuff in and working? Feel any better?

This weekend was Clash of the Titans at HRP. My buddy Tommy went friday night.....went some 8.40s@189.....yes 189...

We were racing Sunday at HRP,I had a 1.25 60 ft. best ever.Also saw Mike Morans outlaw 10.5 car run a 6.01 at 250 mph.He ran a 4.03 1/8 mile

It feels pretty much the same in the lever. I have not had the chance to see if if will slip more. The springs are the same stiffness. The springs in it were stock and I replaced them anyway. There was little noticable color or wear on the plates i took out. It went well once I decided to quit second quessing myself on the placement of the disks.

Did you play with the adjustments on the cable to get you some more lever travel? Something still doesn't sound right....

I had to adjust it. When the clutch was in the rear was spinnin. I freaked for a sec. and then realized it was probably the cable adj. I let it out till the wheel stopped and then went a little more. It does need something though. The friction point is still at the very end of the throw.
