good to know he's alright... looked like a nasty lowside when he started rolling. too many bikes went down saturday for sure.

the rest of the weekend i made sure to take a lap each session to warm up the tires.

I'm curious i'v noticed the videos of TWS (Texas World Speedway) the track looks like . Im just going by vid's iv never been there but it looks like there's tar patches all over it and it looks almost worse then some of the streets around here as far as the pavement.

am I wrong? or are all tracks this patched up?

TWS (Texas World Speedway) is an old track, so its going to be like that till they repave, which will prolly never happen.

MSR is only 6 or so years old and it has alot of work done to it as well...

I hear Cresson is nice...and I know first hand that GSS is like buttah.

Thats being said, surface and all, TWS (Texas World Speedway) is one of my favs... the tar patches arent as big of a deal as youd think

I can only think of one spot on the whole TWS (Texas World Speedway) track thats not smooth and its one turn before the front stretch, I try to change my line but I catch it every time.

I was following a bike looking just like that bike. The rider went off the track right before coming out on to the front stright. Just went off track but stayed up nice.

Turn four is notoriously slippery, particularly early in the morning. Many, many cars spin there.

Tom had only minimal damage to the bike. It was limited to cosmetic only. He rode the rest of the day, and most of the next.

And Brandt, that is an 08 Gixxer 1K
