a user review huh...

i had a chinese knockoff 50... it couldn't wheelie.
I have a honda crf 50... it wheelies.

It looks like to me that you just want someone to try to talk you out of a decision you have already made to buy a knock off. I'm not going to try... you'll get the knock off then realize that a honda 50 holds up better and has more resale value. go buy your knock off and see it for yourself

best fiddy for under a G is a used crf50!!! duh!

I am completely addicted to the track, but nothing takes the place of tearin' it up on a good ole honda dirt-bike style fiddy. Crashing sux, so the dirt style bike works great for learning in the grass. I just don't see one of those pocket bikes being as fun on the grass as a crf50.

To offer a different opinion...

I bought a new CRF knock off called a Coolster on Harwin street. $375 new. It ws a 110 auto with electric start and it hauled , even with just one gear. Bad to wheelie on cause it had way too much power. versus my friend's 3 speed Honda 50 it had 3 times the acceleration and 1.5 times the top end. Bike held up well, probably had 50 hours on it when I sold it. not sure, but no mechanical issues except the battery didn't hold a charge well after a year or so. I put on big bars, slicks, and a rear hand brake. My kids loved it and rode it after school all the time. It was the only bike they could "sidewalk ride" and have a good time and not bother the neighbors.

Saw the same brand recently for sale on Harwin for $300 with a kick start 70cc four speed. it is identical to the CRF 50 in almost every way. If I was gonna get into stunting I'd buy one, convert to big bars and slicks, ride it until I knew I liked stunting, and then take the good parts off, sell it, and get a CRF50.

Here is my thread when I sold it for $225 after a year of use. $515 - $225 = $290 loss for one year of fun. Well worth it.

You can see in my avatar the China bike I ride at the golf course. $350 new with a 110 four speed in it. Stator went out after 2 years so I just stuck a fifty motor in it that I knew ran but smoked. Ya, lots of stuff vibrates off when you first get em, the rear brake mounting tab is and bends if you slam on the pedal, but otherwise all worked well until the stator ($9.95 ebay to replace it) went out. My 11 year old loved it, but now has a CRF80 so he can hammer.

So, if you can wrench ok, a china bike will work fine. Buuuuuut....shop around. Some are so crappy I'd never consider one. My 110 is a SDG replica with aluminum swingarm, good grips, stout triples, and some other good parts. Other's I've seen at the same price would not make it down the driveway in one piece with me on them.

So I went for the lil cheap chinc. I got it Friday evening and played with it all weekend after drill for the Guard. I think it's great for 170 bucks! All I wanted to do was ride a clown bike in corners and this does exactly that. A friend of mine had a reman crf50 with only 5hrs of riding on it he wanted 500 bucks for but then I remembered I still had to fix my bus, my Harley, and go Christmas shopping for other people.
The little Cag/Blata 50 is great, imo, for how little money you need to throw down. It definitely lacks low-end response but it has excellent mid and top end power. It may just be the silly clutch plate tho. I have a bunch of friends wanting one now. The big thing I don't like about it is it's LOUD. I'm trying to fab up backyard mufflers for it to make it quieter. Monster soda cans work pretty well. The higher-end models on the usa-pocket-bikes site seem like they would be better racers for those with more green to throw around, but since all I wanted was a silly little toy to play with I think this one was the better idea. When it breaks I can just shelf it and order the $30 part online ( w/ free shipping ) and not have to worry much.
