cbr 600 f4i vs rr

how big a difference is there between the rr and f4i? 03 f4i vs 06 rr?
and i mean in regards to seating position/comfort, performance (acceleration and handling) also reliability....

The seating position on the RR is definitely more aggressive that the F4i, so the F4i would be more comfortable on a day to day basis and long rides..etc.
The RR is really more race ready than the F4i, example, the clearance...I dragged pegs on the F4i sometimes. Acceleration would be a better for the RR compared to the F4i and handling would be better as well.
I think both are great bikes though.

cool thanks for the input. i have the 03 f4i right now, but a buddy of mine is going in with me on getting an 06 rr. the likely out come is him selling his f3, me selling him the f4i and me getting the rr, though he may take the rr if he wants to come up with more cash. it was his idea that i get the rr since he doesnt want to come out of pocket more than $1k, and it looks like we will get the rr for a steal...

almost.

i track my f4i and i love it. i've ridden a 600rr on the track also. the 600rr feels alot better on the track, takes alot less work to go fast.

but i love my f4i.

it really depends on what year 600rr you are talking about the new ones are sick fast and way lighter then the older ones.. that being said the f4i is perfectly track able. I wouldnt "upgrade" from an F4i to a RR unless it was the 07+ year

Sounds like a good deal, I don't know, you just wanting a new bike to have one? I love my F4i, wouldn't upgrade unless I had to, or got a better paying job.

its mostly too good a deal to pass on. from discussions with my friend i am probably going to let him have it though, he has an f3 and said the 600rr is his dream bike. thing is he rides for work (at home health care nurse) so he carries his gear and rides all over, i suspect that the rr is the least suited for that, the f3 or my f4i are better for that. who knows though, my heart is not set on it, specially since i got my f4i looking nice right now!
worst case if he and i cant come to an agreement we can just sell it and make some cash! but honestly i hope we can work it out so he can have it and buy my investment out.

how much less then 1k? 800 bucks? naa I'd just keep the F4i I'v owned my f4i since 05 and my really good friend had an 05 RR and we swapped bikes all the time, I just didnt see the huge difference in the bikes.

if i ended up with it it would cost me about $300 plus title transfer after I sold my F4i.
I pretty much decided i want my friend to have the bike though. I mean if he says its his dream bike...and the fact i am really happy with my f4i...
