Bike(s):
2001 Honda XR650R Track Motard (sold), 2006 Honda 919, 2007 Honda CBR600RR(sold)

Curt did you notice the guy in front of you leaning his bike and lower body into the corner but his head and upper body were leaning the opposite way?

Were you instructing or something? If not I don't know how the heck you stayed back for so long.

Ha, no I was not instructing. Just filming a few folks. I have a whole new level of respect for the instructors of the Novice run group. That's not easy work.

As far as body position and lines.... it's the Novice run group and everybody is learning. It's all good.

Maxgs,

2nd to last Novice session, you pointed to me at the end indicating you had some footage. I didn't see it here, would you still happen to have it? I'm kinda curious what my body position looks like. I was on a Slow and Ugly Primer grey SV650.

Competition on a track day!!

It is not a good idea for anyone to look back while riding at the track!! Any instructor with any org will tell you this!! A newer rider can look back a cover quite a bit of distance in a very short period of time!!

We are working on SlowBlack.... he has some peculiar habits from running around on the streets. He's a good guy and a helluva rider. We'll bring him around.

He's EXACTLY right! Dont get out there and try and go fast. Take your time and learn. That's what will make u a better rider. I may not ride, but at least i've learned from being around those that do.
