My buddies wife has one and she rode it out to bandera last weekend. good looking little bike. like 200cc i think. He changed the sprocket and differant filter. bike topped out at 80mph and she kept it hammered most of the way. I think she has about 5k miles on it.
If i was looking for something to learn on that is the way to go. he bought his at harwin for like $1500 out the door i think he said.

i would put up another few hundred up front to get a used kawi 250 and get it all back in a year, rather than throw away 800 on a throwaway bike.

+1 D. I would just continue saving and get the 250 Ninja. At least parts wouldn't be hard to come by in case you had to fix it.

If you'd seen the way to responded to the idle vibrations on my bike you'd be putting her on a Buell

Mancuso had about a dozen Blasts, from one of the riding schools. You might think about one if she just doesn't like the Ninjas. Otherwise I'd go with a Ninja 250.

man buy it if you like it. Take care of it and keep it clean. You probably wont get your money back but, if you have the $$$ to throw down go for it. Im sure you can find a beginner rider to purchase it in a year or so
