wrecked last night

I wrecked my yzf600r last night on westhiemer about 2 miles east of 610.

I am ok, been sore as all day and my left hand is rashed up pretty bad.

Pretty much what happened was I was heading west towards 610 looking for a specific resturant looking at the signs as I went by, pretty much not watching the road like I shoulda been. It was a area not lit the greastest, the median got wider for a turn spot and I ran up on to it and laid the bike on the left side. I had all my gear on except gloves. My leather jacket is trashed, had a good pair of boots on which are all scrapped up as well. I mananged to save my new helmet as my head never hit the ground. I was going probably about 40mph or so. Pretty much the morale is please wear your gear when riding. I see so many people wearing low top shoes when riding, get a good pair of leather boots, the entire side of my left boot is scuffed all the to the top.

There was traffic behind me, they all stopped to wait for me to pick the bike up out the middle of the road. But no one came to help or even ask. That is what kinda sucks.

Bike is good cosidering it went over the curb and back into the road on it's side. Left fairing is all scrapped up and stator cover. Other then that it's fine, road it all the way home, still drives straight as an arrow.

At least no one got out of their car and stole your bike. See, people aren't all that bad after all.
