Rider Dies this weekend

I don't have too many details but I hear that it was a wreck @ Clay Rd & Fry.
I sure hope it wasn't any of you.

Let me know if anyone has details.

I heard a chick crashed into the back of a car. It looked like a cruiser and not a sport bike. RIP

Motorcycle, Car Collide, Killing Woman
Cause Of Accident Remains Under Investigation

POSTED: 9:49 am CST December 12, 2005

HOUSTON -- A woman riding a motorcycle but not wearing a helmet died Sunday after she collided with a car in southeast Houston.

Investigators said the accident happened at the intersection of Reed Road and Coffee Street at about 5:40 p.m.

The crash's impact threw the woman into a fence and the car, which spun out of control, landed on top of her before bursting into flames.

Authorities pronounced the woman dead at the scene. Her identity has not been released.

Two people in the car suffered minor injuries.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation. No one involved in the accident has been ruled at fault.

I asked a Sherrif Deputy that works in my building part time if he heard anything about a bike accident at Clay and Fry. He said there was one Saturday night and the person was in critical condition at that time. He didn't know if it was a sport bike or cruiser or any other details. I'll post back if I hear anything else.

wrd,

Though I doubt it would help if a car landed on you and burst into flames.
