I mean DOT approved doesn't mean much but Snell and ECE should. How much a helmet like this cost?

Well, I understand that Arai and Shoei are not 5 or 6 times better than these helmets just becuase they cost 5 or 6 times more. But jeezs its my head that is why I always go for the best eventhough it is way more expensive.

see how it cracked? vs "gave in" that cracking is a sharp action, so instead of the helmet absorbing energy, it cracks and your head is still accelerating. where as if it "gave" it would absorb energy and slow your head down.

dont go cheap on the helmets..... im not saying price wise... but do some research first.. I really dont think its hard to get a helmet dot/snell approved.. I have a shoei RF1000 and has pads all the way to the nose of the helmet where my KBC doesnt.. I just feel more safe with my shoei... and I got that one cheaper than my KBC... I have yet to try an Arai... but I think next helmet...
