Question is "why would anyone buy a fiddy some adult has been ragging on for $xxxx when you can get one a child has put maybe 15hrs on for half the price?"

TRUE. But..... Not if its a HONDA, what could you possibly break?? We know the motor can take abuse.

its not the aftermarket that affects the price on them.

Supply and Demand. People are not selling their 50's for more because they are modded. They are selling them for more because everyone wants one and there is not many on the market. Try reading a page or two back...not sure I really need to explain this a second time in the same thread.

Well you were talking about a modded 50... A modded 50 will have suspension upgrades, when I think of a modded 50 I think of a Honda motor and stock frame and evrything else aftermarket stuff BAM!

I got that, It took me a month or so to find the 2 that I have at reasonable price, but my opinion(no-one cares I know) is this is an artificially inflated market (see my previous post here).

I'm confident that if I was in the market I could find a low-hrs unmolested fiddy locally for less than $650 within a few weeks time, I see 'em quite often (of course not here) & am simply pointing out to the thread starter that due-dilligence pays off... but I think she got that long ago.

Done here... let's go ride!!

I'd sell mine for $2000.... I don't really want to sell it but if the opportunity arises and someone is willing to pay $2000 for it... that is enough to convince me that i want to sell it to them.
