Doesn't matter. If the demand for stunt 50's is high and they are not in abundance on the market, the price will rise. Same thing with guns, gas, whatever. It's the way the market works.

I understand you want a deal on a 50. I waited some time before I found one at just the right price bone stock barely used. Bought it and dumped more than I paid for the bike in aftermarket parts on it. If I were to sell it now I wouldn't let it go for less than a grand. Some people may not like the price, but again. I am not actively selling it nor do I need to get rid of it.

Wasn't it just yesterday that you were in an uproar defending people after a couple of MH'ers pointed out some shady sales practices around here?

And now you are complaining.

Ha ha ha ha ha.

most def. when i bought my r6 brand new, i got the best price in town by far, shortly after i found out how much i could have paid for it up in the northeastern states i was shocked. the market here can be different from the market in any other city or state. thats why people choose to not buy locally sometimes.

those flippin fiddys are in high demand, to many ppl want them, and of course want them used....

I gave up on a 50...im workin on a dirt bike now! They are cheap, wreckable, pick-up able (yes, even my weak can pick one up). Dirt feels better then cement. and its something new to keep me occupied during the cold track season...

not sure about lost.

someone will buy them. once the right person comes along that wants it and the price meets their needs they will be bought. 50's aren't exactly hard to sell.

hope you ain't talking bout me.

i understand how frustrating it is to want a 50 and not find one at the price YOU want. Been there, patience paid off for me though.

I am simply am telling you that it is supply and demand, regardless of whether your talking about 50s, cars, motorcycles, gasoline, food, midget strippers, whatever. supply and demand will always bear on the market. Low supply and high demand means higher prices. (Take a look at the market for AR15's right now)

How about finding a group of people wanting them and taking a drive to Southern Honda in TN....799 OTD, no tax, and brand spanking new. I have a group of friends from Chicago who make the drive annually to pick up 5+ CRF50's.

Houston has always held higher prices on bikes. It is supply and demand. We deal with a longer riding season for a city this size then most of the country except for LA.
