I just decided one day that I am no longer a gopher boy. So, I went out jacking people for money and put a down payment for a shop. What kind of answer are you really looking for?

As in any business, money making is a drive/goal. Experience is a must and it takes money to make money. Hard working and long hours is required. Having good help will make it easier. With lots of luck, your business will survive. Good luck in getting your answer that you already knew(answers that won't be so surprising).

As I was saying it could happen in any way; some have big pockets and started big, some started in a garage and grew. When you start big, either you have money saved up or loan. See??? answers you already knew.

I successfully ran a business for 4yrs. all on my own. From personal experience I can tell you that a good business plan is the first thing you need. Once I got that, it was pretty much all down hill from there. It all depends on how motivated you are to be successful.

don't turn you passion into your business.......

It will most likely ruin your passion.

I hardly ever ride anymore........it just feels like I'm back at work.

i been working at a Kawi dealer, but am trying to get into the Houston Fire Dept. Been lining up side work already, and though I doubt i will want to run a full time business, I know i am going to do work on the side for the rest of my life, I already do that on cars, so why not add bikes. Even though i am in a shop all week long I can't wait til the weekend when i get to ride!
