two moments...

one was the cop that clocked me at 111mph but i breathed a sigh of relief when he told me that because i had been cruising in the high 140's for about 5 minutes. still got a ticket though.

the biggest pucker moment so far suprisingly wasn't when i lowsided in traffic. i was cruising around straightening out some corners one sunday afternoon and i entered a turn that had a posted 40mph speed limit. i went into it at about 75 on the throttle and at 80mph in the apex i heard a pop sound and my back tire started getting REAL squishy and started backing around on me. i let off the throttle and got through the corner into a straight away and looked down and my back tire was losing air FAST. it was basically flat by the time i got to the next gas station a mile and a half away. pulled up next to an air pump and realized that a plug had backed out of my tire mid turn and i almost lost the back end.

riding down a highway at about 150, went to go around a slow truck as i had plenty of room, and he swerves to turn left right in front of me with no blinker, panic braked into an accidental stoppie as i headed directly for his tailgate

somehow i got the rear back down just in time to come within inches of pretty much death

lesson learned

so far the scariest for me was fish tailing thru a turn b/c I didn't notice the sand and tried to take the turn a lil hot to beat traffic....made it out okay, but definitely the worst so far...

stupid guy in a 300 got in front of me an hit the brakes hard so I panic braked and locked up the front tire on 610. Bike went all over the lane then smoothed out and I didn't go down Noob luck OR maybe the time I wanted to see what the top speed on my bike was? Just as I was topping it out on hwy 90 I look up and saw what I thought was a cop parked on the side of the road turned out to be a broke down car . The speed plus the "cop"= fast heartbeat

Cruising down Highway six at 80 m.p.h. All by myself no cars as far as I could see so just pushed up to 90mph then saw some brake lights light up way in front of me ! (Crown Victoria Cop Car) Was thinking run stop run stop RUN! Snapped the throttle and took off hit sixth and shift light came on so must of been booking couldn't look at the gauge. Slowed down looked behind had put a fair amount of distance in front of me saw lights coming killed my bike took a left down some rode turned it back on and off I went lost them then. Then came back around and got pulled over for matching description lol by the cop who did the chase I had but I had but my hoodie from my bag on so yeah needless to say he knew it was me but we I played dumb and three more cop cars came thought i was going to jail BUT he just said slow the down and get out of here. *This is all hypothatically what would happen......*

the wreck because i looked at the Hardly Davidson passing me and the off road because i hit the yellow line and the rear end stepped out.

Both mistakes on my part.

Been around... don't get as much riding in up here as I did down there. I'm pretty much done for the season here. Might be back down in June!!

And to keep with the subject after I went down we used a trailer hitch to bend my rearset back and I went out the next session... I kept sliding the rear in the same corner I went down in and decided to call it a day!
