hand brake set up

i just put on my shindy and i am trying to figure out where to put it. on top of the clutch or under. i want to know some advice on this.

personal preference ... i always rocked hb on top ... the rest of the world hb on bottom

mekrew and clayton rocked on top...i mean it's cool if you just clutch it up and then wanna switch fingers to the handbrake...the rest of the world has the clutch on top and the lever cut short, so you can one finger clutch while having your middle finger already ON THE HANDBRAKE.

ya. then i switched it back last night. went and rode tonight. old HB, old style.

HB on bottom and to the inside of the clutch so you get the most leverage on the end of the brake lever. When i get home to day I will post a pick of mine.

my preference is is have all my hb leverage in my index finger as opposed to your middle ...

try this and see whats easier ..
make a peace sign with your fingers
pull your middle finger in as if it was a lever and then your index finger can control hb

now make a peace sign again
pull your index finger in as if it was the clutch and move your middle finger

for me its easier doing the majority of my work with index finger ... but who am i , i suck
