Exclamation A bit windy outside

Hey guys, just got back from doing a bit of riding. It was a bit windy both on the beltway and on the street (north side of town). Not to mention the wind was blowing debris all over the street.

I think a couple of you guys are gonna be out riding, if so, be safe and watch out for those pesky gusts.

I so wanna ride both Sat and Sun... but waking up early twice, specially on a weekend, is bad for the health ... Be safe out there, and let us know how the ride goes, I think I might try and get out and ride in the afternoon if the winds aren't that bad.

I tell ya, as a new rider, the wind was a lil scary the first time I got to the top of one of those big ramps. Feels like you'd just go right off and over the edge.

lol... yeah, I almost had a bit of brown spots on my underwear one day when I overpassed a big rig. I always heard to watch out of the wind when overpassing them, never really experienced it till that day. Good thing instinct kicked in and I leaned the bike in the opposite direction of the gust... kept my line pretty good.

Its actually pretty enjoyable if you know its gonna happen, almost reminds me of my flying days when I got stuck in turbulence. But I haven't had it as bad... I think.

Just drove north on 45 back to Huntsville and the wind was blowing trucks all over the lanes, it was pretty wicked.

Try riding over the Galveston Causeway on a Ninja 250 in the worst cross-wind possible! That shizz is FUN! (Not really.)

It helps being a big guy on a big(ger) bike. Now it's no big deal if the wind is kickin' like they say it will tonight and tomorrow. I just crouch down a bit, and watch out for on the roads and freeways!

I have ridden that route before (Like to go to Raven Lake)... but winds weren't bad enough to blow trucks around, just me .

You litle girls need to get real bikes that don't freak out with a little wind.

How is a Ninja ZX6R any worse than your Yamaha 600!?? LOL

It's all in your head, anyway. Even when it feels like the wind will blow your tires out from beneath you, you have to know you're okay

being a guy on a 250 the wind sucks. I was on the freeway headed north bound and of course the wind is hitting me coming from the north. Not fun at all.

Gotta embrace it and call it fun. Had fun out there except for the debris--there are some rather stout lil' gusts.
