Like Patrick mentioned, when gas was cheap and had lead. In my day .32 a gallon. Fast Times at Ridgemont High was the movie to see. When high school didn't have their own cops and didn't close the campus. When you could drive to school with rifle mounted on the rack in the back window. When the drinking age was still 19 in Arizona. When the Honda Interceptor first came out. When XRock 80 was still sending a radio signal out of Jaurez, Mexico. When baseball cards actually came with gum.

Oh and seeing two movies for 50 cents. A lot has changed in my 41 years. Can only imagine how it will change in the next 41.

Man that's going wayyyy back. But yes, I remember that!!! Mom never missed collecting her S&H stamps! And I remember going to Ohio in the 1971 Olds Vista Cruiser wagon with the glass roof, to see my grandparents and gas was .25

That gas price of .19 was when I first got out of US Army in 1972 moved to Baytown Tx and there was a small station on the spur off I-10 that had that low price Its was great I have a 68 Charger RT and it cost about 5.00 to fill it up of course I had to buy Eythel............... Ha Ha remember when they call Premium gas that ? Plus I used to pump gas & check the oil for customers...also check your tires sir?
