As with all our planned rides, gear is always recommended for your safety... cuz I will want to play a little rough when we get on the road lol....

but no one is excluded. Squids will be photographed and put on the Wall of Shame.

Leds pull little charge; approximately less then a quarter volt. So run a 9V G battery(the big ones at sears the size of a coke bottle) w a flasher relay inline(5 bux) and a three way switch or extra motorcycle switch.

As for brakes, same way if you must, momentary ground switch.

Mine will be all race. though...
You are over thinking it. Just get the batt. powered lights that a bicycle rider would use.

Will see if he is down for it.

I suppose that could work too lol...

Darn BMWs dont allow me to think straight...

to activate turn signals:745i:

push lever, single position for three flashes, all the way for continuous.

message from lever goes to SZL(column module)

transmitts by fiberoptic light signal to SIM(safety gateway module) where the signal is processed and turned into an electrical signal again, data bus.

goes over bus system to LM(light module) Which in turn provides power to the turn signal lights(no relays.)

LM sends request to instrument cluster, going through the SIM again to another bus system. Signal is processed and converted into a sound that the instrument cluster makes and displays the flashing light on the cluster itself.

wow....
